if you are looking at the lpr from the barrel end you turn the screw/knob counterclockwise. The general rule of thumb for proper lpr setting is to turn it all the way down to where the gun won't cycle, then slowly turn it up until it will fully cycle and then give it an extra 1/4 to 1/2 turn past that point.
If your selenoid leaks at that point I would make sure that the selenoid retaining screws(the two that hold it to the ram) are tight.
