Cleaning B2k4 pds?
hi, i'm having a prob where even when the pds (eyes) are on on my b2k4, it still shoots with nothing in the barrel. anyway i figure it's a cleaning thing, since i got a few breaks recently and have never cleaned my pds. anyway, i have no idea how to go about this, and don't even know what the pds looks like let alone see the pds in the bolt chamber. could somebody point this out to me? i also have pretty much no clue how to take the gun apart besides taking the bolt and grips off. thanks in advance!

take the eye covers off, take the eyes out of the body holes, wipe them with a rag or cloth. Thats how i do it on my spyder so...maybe the same.

sorry for my stupidity- how do i get the eyes out of there? theres 2 diagonal bars on each side (i'm assuming those are the eye covers, correct me if i'm wrong), with screws in them, and i took the screws off, but that's it. what next?

they don't really seem to want to come out- i'm pulling but there's really nowhere to grasp, even though it does look like they're supposed to come off

wiggle them side to side? are they loose? Flip the gun over and they might fall out?

if there not coming off easy just leave it and wait for someone with a BKO to come and help you out. My eye covers might be different than yours.

I will be getting a B2K4 w/ pds in the mail shortly. If I figure it out and you still need the info I will help you out.

those are the eye covers. I'm not sure why they aren't just coming off easy once you remove the screw. Try wiggling them and seeing if somehow they got glued to the gun body.

i dont see any signs of things like glue or see why that would be the case- i bought the gun brand new! they look like they're supposed to come out, being they're separated from the rest of the body, but they don't budge AT ALL! they don't even wiggle...do yours just fall right off?

there should be the eyes which are attached to the wires, and the detents which hold the ball in place.
clean both, and also clean the inside of the gun. Use a q-tip to get paint out of where the eyes will rest.

Go to ACE hardware and got to the fastener section. Go to bin #302. It should contain neopreme washers. The part # you are looking for is 3810-A. They are 5/32" I.D., 3/8" O.D.

it's all about knowing where to look.
