b2k4 troubles

Alright so I bought my b2k4 w/PDS from a friend, and he traded his xbox for it. Now when he got it it was broken, so he took it into the shop and they fixed it up but they said the whole gun was f'ed over. A week later he played with it and it worked perfectly. Now I bought it off him and played with it yesterday. Worked most of the day laned like a *****.

After half of the day I re chronoed it and it was clocked at 240 which is what i need it at to play. But even though I was shooting at the limit I couldnt shoot 1/4 down the field. So I remember reading somewhere on here I need to adjust the LPR.

Now this is the part I'm forgeting how to do. Am I supposed to unscrew the LPR until it starts leaking then turn it in 1/4 of a turn? When I tried this I wasn't sure how far to unscrew it until it starts to leak. I unscrewed it farely far and It wouldnt start to leak so I was worried that if i unscrew it to far somehting might happen to it.

Also my detents also went bad and im getting roll back as well. So what exactly do I have to do to fix this? And also when I shake my gun something is moving back and forth clicking from the back of the bottom tube to about halfway to the front(back where the ram is) could any1 help me with this aswell?

thnx,
kazoo

if your field limit is 240! then adjusting the lpr is going to = more pressure driving the ram into the valve thus creating more force. more force driving into the valve = more velocity.

my point being is 240 fps is 240 fps. if this is the feild limit and ur balls still arnt clearing a quator way down the feild your feild is huge! adjusting the lpr higher is going to raise you over 240 fps. which is not something you want! as stated 240 is the speed you need to play at

as far as i know unscrewing the lpr = turning it down

you would need to screw the lpr in slowly till you hear the noid vent, onec venting turn it back till the noide stops venting then unscrew it 1/4th more of a turn

you could make a ram bumper, (peice of rubber to go on the end of the ram) this will push the bolt more into the breach and you wont get and roll back. just make sure the ram bumper isnt to the point where its not leting the bolt fully clear the breach

and ass for the ratteling price iv never owned a b2k4 in my life so i have no clue what it could be

thnx,

the rattling is the battery i bet.

buy new detents or do a detent mod (check stickys on pbn)

if you are shooting at the proper fps and the balls aren't going far, the field is probably BIG. Now if the balls go less and less distance then that is shootdown and you need to fix that by relubing the hpr and maybe lpr.

alright thnx bobide, I'm trading it away for a new gun so im not gonna bohter doing anyhting to it. The guy im trading it to says he doesnt mind.

And I don't think its the batterie rattling cause, when i turn the gun so the barrel is facing the ground it sounds liek somehting is sliding back and forth on the bottom tube.
