Question BKO questions

I recently acquired a basket case ’04 BKO. A trip to the hardware store and some soldering has it working fine. As far as I can tell it is stock other than the Evil Detonator HPR that I installed. I don’t know much about ICD markers so I’ve been reading posts on this forum but, I haven’t really found answers to my questions so here goes:

1. What maintenance does it require? The manual is pretty much worthless in this regard. It says not to use oils of any kind but to use lithium grease. Somewhere I read not to use white lithium. Should I still put a couple of drops of synthetic oil in the ASA and fire it through the marker?

2. Are upgrades for the LPR available? Is upgrading this part worth the effort?

3. Other than the Barrel what other upgrades are worthwhile and cost effective?

Thanks for the advice
Scott

1)no no! do NOT EVER put any sort of oil in the marker! use dow 33 or another paintball lubricant. Oil will find its way intot eh solenoid and break it.

2)Upgrades are hard to find nowdays because as far as I know, they're not made anymore. icd-owners.com has them pop up occasionally in the b/s/t section though. It's a good investment.

3)You can always buy a promaster ram and noid and turn it into a sleeper promaster here's a big list of things about it.
