Question Another BKO Question

I'm new to ICD markers so please please be kind. I have a 2003 BKO. When I fire it rapidly (I've got slow fingers so it's not all that fast) the presure at the HPR output gauge drops off quickly. Everything I've read says the HPR needs work but, I swapped the HPRS between two markers (the other is a '04 BKO) and nothing changes. The '04 still shows consistancy and the '03 still drops off. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

have you lubed the HRP recently? ICD hprs are well know for being pieces of ****, sometimes lubing them helps.

since it's happening with two different ones though, make sure your tank is screwed in completely and that your on/off is completely on.

honestly, the ICD regs on bkos aren't great by any means. Have you given them a fresh coat of lube?

I'm sorry, I should have told you that I put brand new Evil Detonators on both. Yes, the tank is screwed all the way on and the on/off is all the way on. Maybe change out the on/off on the '03? Thanks for the input, any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks again.

hmmm. remove your front block and asa and give it a good cleaning in alcohol. It sounds like something may be blocking the passageway. It could also be the line from your tank to your regulator, or(worst case) your tanks regulator.

Here's a thought, could it be the gauge? Someone has replaced the stock gauge with a micro gauge. I will give your suggestions a try. I used the same tank on both markers so I sort of doubt that it's the problem. Thanks again for the quick reply.

it could be the gauge; are you having shooting problems when this happens?
