Question promaster- ebay valve

ok so i bought the ebay valve, installed it, and so far everything is working great i haven't aired it up yet but I'm going to soon. i was wondering if i have to adjust the valve spring in anyway, i heard some talk about needing to shorten it or something on other threads i just want to be clear on what i need to do.

Try shooting it first. Then if you have any issues, shorten it.

The stock valve spring in the promaster will work fine. For slightly better results a lighter spring can be used but is not necessary.

i asked the guys at my local proshop and they said that the stock valve is just fine and the difference is not worth the hassle of adjusting it to run right...

ROFL/ the guys at your shop must be incoherent. It makes it much more efficient. and requires a drop in the LPR, but you gotta do that anyhow after you take it apart.

it's true, when i went to the field to play my marker wasn't working all that well so i came back here to find out what was wrong with it, matrix told me to rebalance my regs, and sure enough it works like a charm now.
