i tried to screw them into the gun and ASA but it looked like the thread on the screw stopped it from going in all the way.... i tried 4 of them. Are they supposed to stick out really far?

ok thats wut i thought u were talking about at first.

Alright its not gonna go in all the way. I can see a few levels of threads on mine on all 3 of my guns lol. Just make sure you put some of that tape on (name escapes me) Its to prevent any air leaking through. Put a lil of the tape on (Certain kind someone on here will know) then screw it in as much as u can gas it up and see how it works.

Teflon tape is what you're looking for, if not that then lock-tite; although those appear to have some sort of sealant on them already.
dont' worry if they're not in all the way; so long as they're in far enough to hold and are not leaking, it's fine.

ok i put the screw in the reg and taped it..... not i attached the ASA.... what side should the screw go on ? right or left???......and is 72/3000 a big tank?

whichever you like. just be sure to put a plug or gauge on the other side or it'll leak out.

screw it in a lil on each side and then see wut 1 u like more. Put the cap with some Teflon tape on it and put it in the 1 u didn't like

Not to sound like I think anyone here is an idiot but don't put superglue to make sure the fitting threads stop from coming out. The previous owner of my gun did that and took me a week and some power tools to get it out cause it was leaking.... Freakin' A-hole!
