Just got my Promaster Silver the other day. Went to the field today and got aired up and tried it out. I love the gun but found that on firing it will fire semi for the first 5 or so shots then it will go to a 3 ball burst fire rate. I have tried setting the dip switches and yes I have the settings correct.
Has anyone else run into this? I have backed off the trigger adjustment until no switch activation and then screwed back in until It just activated micro switch. Still same firing.
Any Ideas?

that sounds like you have it on a ramping mode not burst. in ramping it will fire in semi untill you hit a certain bps, then it will "ramp" up to a higher bps. try firing 1 ball at a time very slowly (1 bps maybe) and see if it does the same thing, and also, fire it 5 times fast, but when it starts firing extra dont stop pulling the trigger keep going and see if its adding extra shots

I've checked and double checked the dip switches. #1,2,3 On - pointed towards barrel. and #4 off - pointed away from barrel. All other modes seem to work fine but in the semi setting it will fire fine if I just pull trigger slow like one pull a second. if I pull faster then that it will ramp up and fire just like my Spyder VS1 in 3 ball burst. (except the promaster doesn't break balls)

I talked to a lady at ICD today and she felt it may be the board so when the season is over I'm gonna send it back to them for a check I guess.

ya its stuck in a ramping mode. psp ramp maybe? sounds like your on the right track to fix it though

is there any way you could be confusing those switches on your board, as in, thinking they are off when they are really on?
