Alley Cat
so i picked up a icd alley cat today. anyone else have this? its really well built and can take 2 bottles at once,lol 10$ at a flea market

all it is is a old pump made by ICD. It was a good seller till the angel series came out, then ICD needed a fast gun to compete with the angel, so they made the bushy

well if u knew anything u could clearly see that it is NOT a pump, this gun is the lower end of the puma line, which includes the puma, desert fow and thunder cat. these only died cause tippmann came out with the 98, they quit makeing this line of guns late 1998, oh the dual bottle setup is nice, one goes verticly and one goes in the back angled downwards, lol im not that smart /\ but i called icd lol..... i wanted some info : )

I'm not sure why the '98' killed it.
Tippmann has been making popular semis since 1990.
The Tippmann Pro/Am was the defacto field-rental through most of the 90s.
The real problem was the ICD blowbacks hit the market around 1994. The SAME time as all cheap Z-1 cones flooded everywhere. (ie Boxers, Checkmates, AK1s, Icons, Elliminators, etc).
There was simply no market left for the ICD blowbacks, despite the great design. (Its an inline-semi, like a Tippmann, except the valve is vertical, NOT horizontal). The recock was also adjustable, 9 years before the Omen came out.

damn ur more informative then icd ppl, u just made them look dumb. anyway, its only got a few scratches, what do u think its worth? im not selling it, sence i like it to much. just wanna know what its worth

NOTE: They may become popular now that the new ICD Freestyle gun is basically an E-GRIP Thundercat. (or so that is the rumor)
