OK be4 PBF got hacked there was a thread here that explained how to Vaporize your stock bolt...meaning you cut notches into your stock bolt where u can put 3 o-rings just like the vapor bolt but cheaper. If the guy that made that thread still plays on PBF Please Please rewrite that thread.

haha this is a very hard thing to do and you shouldnt try it without proper metal cutting tools, just send it to vapor works and save yourself some time

mettal cutting tools huh? wasnt aware that you needed metal cutting tools to cut plastic....

Id try it if you dont mine screwing the bolt up cause theres a HUGE chance that it will happen.

Actually with the proper tools it is quite easy to do. All we need is someone who has a vapor bolt to give us the measurements from the front of the bolt to all 3 o-rings. Then use a lathe to mill the oring lines in the bolt. Would take about 5 mins tops.

naw you dont need one that big a small hobby lathe at you local home depot or something liek that or a hardware store could hook you up for like 50$. But then you could like vaporize peoples bolts for like 5$ and make some money. I dunno if anyone would consider sending one in but its just a suggestion.

Lathe: a lathe is used to like my what pucked said to cut nothces like that for orings they use them to make barrel and what not liek a good example would be like a cp barrel? The ridges at the end are make by a lathe. On one side of the lathe there is a drill bit and on the other side you put your barrel (in this case a bolt) on the other side and that side spins I believe its the far left sid ein the pick because of the motor and the bit cuts into it as it spins and you use the knobs to raise or lower and move from left to right. Hope this helps.
