wait for 05 or 04
im not SURE that im getting a b2k/bushy(imk kinda confused frankly)im thinkin about an imp too. this is my first gun, sooooo... should i(if i decide bushy/b2k) wait for the 05s or get an 04 if i get it before the 05s come out? i know the year has some developments? also where is the best priced one at? i found one for 495 at the village full of action... 04 taht is. how much u think 05s will be? also are bushys easy to maintain(im not dumb but i am newb) or are they complicated? and i WILL read the manual and not mess with it except for cleaning and maintanence. Also what do you guys thinks better imp or bushy? STATE REASONS, none of this SP are bastards etc. thanx.. 500 or so dollars is a lot of money... i am just researching... edit: are bushys light and are they speedballish? im lookin into speedball, but meh not 2 sure about what i like... i think scenario-capture the flag in games with props is OK. Speedball is an adrenalin rush though...... 0?

05s won't come till march-may(dunno exactly) of next year... If you're willing to wait, go for it cuz 05s look sweet, but if you want something soon, just go 04(or even used 03 for less $$).
If I were you, I'd definately go bushy over impy not just because I'm a bit biased for owning one, but because they're so much better stock than impulse, upgrades are cheaper for it, and they usecocker threaded barrels like alot of other guns, so if you ever do go trix, timmy, or whatever else you don't need to buy a new barrel kit.
Stock advantages over impulse:
Delrin bolt(no lube required!)
Blade trigger
Low Pressure Regulator
PDS(Break-beam anti-chop) > Vision(reflective anti-chop)

yes, bushys are efficient. go 68/4500 crossfire high output preset tank...
lube your ram with white lithium grease, dow 33, shocker lube, or slick honey(dunno bout SL for sure, seems like it'd work tho). Read the upgrades stickied thread at the top of this forum, and if you ever have a problem(i never have with my bushy) tell us here and there's always people willing to help you through it.

Ok.
First of all a bushmaster 2004/B2K4/Bushy are lighter than a stock imp because they are milled but yes they are lighter and more sturdy.
Also a PDS Bushy is way better than a vision IMP being that the PDS is break beam eye and the vision is bounce. Break Beam is just better.
Also the PDS Bushy board is capped at 36.6 BPS un like the vision imp which is 20BPS.
Yo could wait for the 05's which is like a whole new turning point for the bushmaster because there is no tray!
Which lowers the profile greatly. It also looks and feels like a freestyle. Which is a plus in my book. And yes both guns will be speedball capabl and have the same feel. I would wait it out.

Um, just to let u know. This gun NEEDS hpa or nitro (its same thing) So if u want a nice light good hpa tank its gonna be $200 for a heavy one that u will hate $90.
Wait for 05, its has a smaller profile b/c of no tray. Its sexyer, its new (and paintballers LOVE new), and it will have other small improvments (which will be nice b/c i'm guessing this purchase will dry up ur bank.)
As stated about (and in numerous other threads) b2ks kick stock vision imps butts. They just have more parts of equal or greater quality for the same price. and yea SP is pretty gay imo, but i'd still shoot one of their guns if i was given it.

B2K5 frames are so clammed though, with them trying to shove everything in there...

i dont know a lot about higher end guns such as bushys, impys, timmys, angels, etc, etc. but i think you should wait a little while after the 05's have been out, just in cause they have any bugs, etc. i know that a fenix isnt high end, but i was gonna buy one, and then when i found out how many problems a guy i knew was having with this, i bought a different one. i would talk and ask people if they have shot these guns and what they think of them. also, talk to people that have older models, cause sometimes the older models are proven that they work just as good as new guns and they ususally seem to work better. hope this helps.

Wait for the 05 that way, current bushy prices will drop or you can get a new one.
