chopping really bad
so got my b2k pds on monday and i played with it this weekend. after getting everything set up, i started to shoot it. the reg was really messed up but that was to be expected because it is a new gun. but i put about 6 tanks of air through it and it started shooting fine and staying around 270 ish. so then i started shooting with paint, and it chopped horendesly (sp). i was using crapy paint cause i didnt want to waste money just testing out my gun. i thought it might just be the paint, so i put some good stuff in it, and started shooting. and it started to chop again. im not talking about chopping every one hundred or so shots, im talking every 2 or 3 shots. so i dont know what to do. BTW i do have PDS and it was turned on

Using a Halo or Reloader B? If so, you MUST do the detent mods. Make sure your eyes are clean, and definately make sure it's a CHOP not a barrel break.

detents and maybe paint to barrel match, if not clean your barrel and breech.
If the LPR is set too high then that could be the problem, I set mine so its about a half turn after being fully cocked.

what size was the paint? was it pretty small stuff or fairly normal or large sized? smaller paints can also wind up double feeding if you don't do the ram bumper mod. if you are using a halo or even an egg(sometimes), you will absolutley need to do the macroline detent mod. if you don't know what that is, i'll tell you. basicly the bushy uses an o-ring as a detent. this o-ring is no strong enough to prevent a halo from double feeding(since it is force fed) or allowing a 2nd ball to get too far into the breech. to fix this, simply take a thin slice of macroline and put it inside of the o-ring detent.
regardless of whether you were chopping or havin balls break in the barrel you really should do the macroline detent mod.

not sure about bumper mod prophet, i wouldn't think so. i think what you are thinking of that is bko only is the SP or DAM mod. thats what won't work on b2k's. i'm sure the bumper would work on a b2k, don't see why not.
