Well the new b2k5s are just like a timmy in just about every aspect. They will have the clamshell, are cocker threaded, has beam-break eyes, aftermarket boards. The only advantage i see is for the extra $600-700 u pay for the timmy u get a little more light weight and a more complex mill job.
I guess if u've got the cash for the timmy go for it.

the current freestyles are 688. Very good deal, and get a sonic borg instead of a timmy. Borgs rip.

timmys kick ass, but mostly due to looks. they rip just as good as a free style.

Making a timmy costs about 300 tops for material and parts. A little cool milling and a new frame and there a nice little 500+ dollar profit.

wait for the 05 to come out so the 04 will be marked down, thats what i am gonna do cuse i am also on a tight budget. but right now the lowest price for a b2k4 w/pds is 495 to 499
