i use a .685-.687 all the time those have to be my favorite sizes
in my shocker freak i have a .685
in my autococker freak i have a .687
i think i have one of those sizes in my sceptor too

But do you use it because you like it, or because you actually NEED that size insert?

I say I use .684 or smaller because I always underbore slightly, and it's been YEARS since I used paint that was larger than a .684 bore.

temperature and humidity swings are pretty nasty around me so im sure that has something to do with it. but yes, i have shot paint that i even could have used another bore a step down from the i think 679 smallest bore as well as the topped out 695, the 695 i have only used a few times and i maybe could have squeezed it through the 693 but it was going to be a very tight fit

I use the .685 because its a good classic it tends to barrel match quite a bit and i dont really overbore or underbore that much
