Well mine is stock (internally) at the moment, and I have the recharge settings zeroed. I have left the dwell though until I can find a place to fill up my N2 tank so I can test it.

the dwell determines how long the valve stays open, i believe in miliseconds. just leave it alone, both your dwell and recharge rates will be fine at the stock.

adjust it back up...52 back up to the top. just keep pressing until the chip stops blinking when you press.

ok it was at as low as it could go and i just adjusted it up 52 from the lowest setting, will that be fine now?

heres the best settings
they work for me
i reached 17 with them


1. Open you grip panels. Press the little gray button until you see non-blinking RED led. Now press the power button. You should see that the yellow led flashes every time you press the power button. Keep pressing the power button until the yellow led no longer flashes each time you press the power button. Once this happens you have reached the lowest possible dwell setting.

2. Now, press the gray button again to until you see a yellow non-blinking led. This led type increases the dwell. Press the power button 40 times, or press and hold the power button and count 40 flashes. Once you do that, your dwell is set at 40 flashes from the bottom value.
You just set your dwell. Good for you.

3.Now, press the gray button again until you get to the single blinking red led.
Once there, press and hold the power button until the yellow led no longer flashes at you as you press the power button. Once there, you have increased your rate of fire setting to its maximum value.
I understand you want to shoot as fast as possible, and you may think that you should leave this setting here, but the truth is that it doesnt need to be there. You can decrease this setting by a bit and still shoot 17 bps.

4.So press the gray button until you get to the single blinking yellow led, and then press the power 8 times.
Now your Dwell is 40 flashes and your ROF is 8 flashes. 40 and 8 equal 48. 48 is the magic number to remember if you want to shoot 17 bps. You could also use a dwell of 35 and a ROF of 13, you could use a dwell of 38 and a ROF of 10. It doesnt matter. All that matters is when you add up your Dwell and Rate of fire you get 48.
Now if you dont want to shoot 17 bps, thats fine. Use a combination higher than 48. If you use a combination less than 48 you are not accomplishing anything positive. This is because, as we all know, the ion is limited to 17 bps, and any combination of 48 gives you right at 17 bps.

This is no way means that you can't run a lower dwell setting. If you choose to run a lower dwell setting you will have less kick and use less air. The trade off is that you'll also get less consistency over the chrono. In the end, its up to you to decide. The best thing you can do is input some new settings and go out and shoot. If it doesnt work well, make an adjustment.
