ASA on/off
I`ve just bought an ION, and somebody told me that if my air system does not have on/off, my ASA must. Is this true? I don`t know a thing about them. Do I need a drop to screw my ASA on it? Is there a good on/off ASA that replaces perfectly (no other piece, drop or rail needed) the original ASA?
I need some advice here, I`m clueless.

You don't need an on/off, all it does it turn off the flow of air from your tank into the gun, all it does is save you some air when you screw it off. You're fine if you don't have one but i myself don't have one so can't help you find one.

The ASA can also help you save alot of o-rings.
If you're looking for a good one, try to find a CP on/off, I swear by one.

it allows you to take the pressure off of your tank and it's o-rings resulting in a lot of saved o-rings.
I personally am a huge fan of a Check-It Unimount, they have a bleed, they're the perfect length and once they're on that puppy ain't moving without tools lol

you dont need one but get one. It makes the gun feel better and saves orings. But untill u get one, always degass the gun, never leave it gassed up.

when you're done playing, after you take your tank off there will still be enough air inside your gun for one shot. So after you take the tank off, turn the eyes off and shoot once, so that there is no more air in your gun. You don't want to leave that air pressure in your gun, it could mess up your hoses and whatnot.
