yes, but the hyper 2 reg is has no advantage over the ion reg performance wise. You would just be wasting money. Only would buy it for looks if for anything.

i wouldn't agree with that, the cp shorty has a performance dif, and it's worse off than the hyper 2... it's not just the look thing - it actually does help... just honestly not that much to justify spending $100 for it when you could spend 1/2 that on a reg that will do just fine.

but for your question, yes it'll fit.

QFT.

The Hyper 2 is a clone of a sidewinder reg. (so is the eclipse reg on ego's)
(sidewinder also being my favorite reg)

The stock ION reg leaves alot to be desired in my humble opinion.
Hyper 2 would be a good upgrade.

Lastly, all regs do not work on all markers. (the fit, they all use standard ASA threads.) But... some regs are LP regs.

these people seem to be right, but the stock regulator on the ion gives higher jumps in velocity than maybe a cp or a hyper2, another good reg is the evil detonator, but it has a long break in period. upgrading the reg will def make your gun much more consistant, especially at higher rof's

yea, and i believe the sidewinder reg is cheaper too! it'll just come down to looks for that one...

but to say that all regs work about the same... well, that's just crazy.
