You should be fine with it.
Just be careful during really cold days. And try not to rapid fire for too long or else the Ion will begin to sweat and can lead to freezing up. Also, make sure the tank is fully screwed in before you begin to fire. If the airsmith that installed the tube did it correctly, he should have made it so when it's fully screwed in, the tube is in the correct position and pointing upward. Also, lol, regularly clean and relube the seals in the regulator and Ion.

look into a plamers stabilizer if yor going CO2 - https://www.palmer-pursuit.com/ecom/...fbface0bc2bb43
That reg has been used since the days when the automag classics were top end tourny guns to make CO2 usable. Between that and the A/S tube, you shouldnt have issues.

Ive heard the palmers was good but my 1 experiance with it left me uncertain. I had one on a dragun TES and and was using CO2. About half way through the day it started leaking out the bleed hole and would only keep about 3/4 of the pressure the gun recommended. The guy who i borrowed it from said he ahd used it many times and never had a problem so it might ahve been a freak accident.

If I were you, if there was any way to use N2, I would, it's SO much better on your gun.

i have been using co2 with anti-syphon for a little bit now. i have gone through about 2300 balls with co2 so far. i havn't had any problems yet, but i plan on getting n2 as soon as i can afford it. the nearest place to fill n2 for me is about 60 miles away in oklahoma city, but i go there quite often, but i may get a larger tank just in case.

^Something you could try to do, is get two or three medium sized steel tanks. It'd probably cost the same as a large carbon fiber tank.
edit: About the Palmers reg, I used one on my TES for about a year, with both Co2 and HPA and never had any problems with it.

If your going to try the HPA route, look into a scuba tank. BRAND NEW, a tank would only be 200. used I can get them localy for 135......
BTW volkers, for your 1 experience I can show you thousands of mag users that have been swearing by palmers since the days before HPA was even availiable........

I know i know, i just thought i would mention it. It deosnt leave a good impression when something screws up the first time you use it. However, the TES it was on had been running on one for 2 years and doing just fine untill that day.
