i realized that the Ion says it can go up to 17bps but is that only on semi? or ramping also? and what is the bps on the full auto? i am asking this cause i know other guns say somthing but perform differently, for instance i know that on the icd Promaster the ramping is 15bps wile semi is like over 20

the ION is 17bps ramping, full semi it'll be as fast as you pull (idk if too many people can pull over 17, but semi would be capped at 17 also) and there is no true full auto on the ion, only semi and ramping.

no full auto? what are you talking about? my friends was over last night after we went painballing and he got his new ion and we were messing with the modes and we were difinitly on full auto... soo ya

Hes just biased towards promaster. Now i have to balance out his bias wiht my own. IONs are better, i hat ICD, they just dont seem like a good company. I think full auto has a 13 bps cap. Semi 17, rebound 17, then full auto and 3 ball either 10 or 13 from what i remember.

dude i love icd ur mean saying that u hate them cause i like both indian creek and smart parts they are mt two favorites in that order, its just i dont like the ion. i think there already was a big promaster/ion brawl in my gun comparison thing for those with all 3 of us so thanks for telling me the bps and now im done.

Just trying to balance out yours. Dont get me wrong, im not saying their horrible and the worst thing ever, i would buy a freestyle, but not a promaster. I just dont like them from my own peronal experiance and ive known alot of people taht dont like tehm either. Some people ahve come to me and told me they had problems dealing with ICD. I dont like ICD but im no fan of Smart Parts either, in fact i think the only good thing smart parts has made is the freak. IONs are god for their price range and come with every feature, and im sure the promaster deos too. This is a forum a place of opinion. The question was brout up and i gave my 2 cents. If you have your heart set on a promaster go get it, im not gonna stop you. In the end its preference and if someone asks a question im gonna answer it form my experiance. Its just a forum people, cool it.

And yeah, i was in that brawl in the gun comparrison forum, lol.

Oh, and by the way, i did find one of the worst paintball companys ever: www.paintball-expert.com I think thats it, go check it out.

I do kinda hate them, but just because i hate them it deosnt mean there bad. I hate the 97 Denver Broncos because tehy beat the packers in the super bowl but that deosnt mean there bad.

holy mother of thread hijacking!

i honestly do not like the styles of ICD, sorry but im into the more DM, Shocker style markers that are more sleek. i ALMOST bought a promaster, but my team (which is like Smart Parts Fan bois) made me get a ION, which i love soooo much and im glad i got it.

To answer the threads orginial owners question.

Semi caps out at 17 BPS..which i know only 2 people that cna shoot 18 on semi and thats like after years of practice.
Rebound caps out at 15, everything else at 10. (i tried messing with the modes the other day i had semi 3 round burst and full auto couldn't find rebound lol.)

There was a competition for the fastest fingers and this guy named Lucky, i think, won with 24 BPS. I can do 16 with my right and 14 with my left. Ive timed it ona autococker witha counter and a computer mouse, as well as ive maxed my EGG out many times.

Ok not to jack... but I have to ask... that www.paintball-expert.com site... are those american dollars? canadian? or chinese dollars? I guess it doesn't really matter because it is a rip off in all three currencies lol oh my god they want 5578 for an Angel A4... I can buy one of those on ebay for like 400
