NEED HELP, broke screw off in ion
last time i assembled my marker, i didn't tighten the front most hollow screw that is by the barrel. you know the one with the hose attached to it that comes from the regulator, it's hollow. anyways i was cleaning my ion and when i was reassembling it, i overtightened that screw and it broke off so that there are no threads on the screw head and the shaft of the screw is still in the hole.
what do i do?

ok, i got the worst part over with. i got the screw shaft out of my frame it had a small metal piece sticking up, and i used that to unscrew it very carefully with the small allen wrench that comes with the gun.
i also found a 5/32 (4mm) banjo fitting on ebay for 7 bucks. this disaster didn't turn out to be too bad.
anyone know how to take off/ put on a new banjo fitting?

Just like a macro fitting. Press in the collar and pull out the hose.

Yes, its quite simple. If you press in the outer part into the main part of teh banjo it lets go of the hose and teh hose will slip right out with a little tug.

Holy crap, this just happened to me yesterday, except the screw didn't come out easy and my brother had to take it to his work at a motorcycle performance place. Except mine was the one that hooks right next to the eye wiring harness/ eye. Thank god my brother worked there. It wouldn't have came out if he hadn't have worked there.

It happened to me once. The guys at SCP (Nick, in hudson) know how to take em out really fast. Did mine in a couple of minutes, but that could just have been because mine wasnt too bad. Of coarse tehy were the ones who broke it off in there too.

Speaking of grip frames, this one dud had a ION w/ a UL frame and DYE hyper2 reg, it was awesome. I got the pic somewhere but dont feel like posting it. If you really want to see it go to mobzor.com and find my profile and look at my pictures, im pretty sure its in there.

kinda off-subject but I found something kinda cool today, and it's cheap so i'm considering trying it just to see how it feels, but it is a little hump that attaches to your bottomline threads and adds a hump to the back of the frame to make it feel like a timmy-style clamshell
http://www.freewebs.com/thehump/
It looks like it would work, but we'll see

looks cool, how much is it? personally i dont think i would like it, but you never know.
on a side note, i played yesterday, i got a new halo b hopper, and it is shooting blazing fast, i was ramping at 17bps. now i need to work on accuracy, i was flinging balls everywhere. any tips to improve the accuracy of a stock ion? anything will help, im thinking of getting a qev and freak barrel soon, are there any settings/speeds that seem to improve accuracy?

Well, in teh stickys there might be a way to et your settings because i know they help everything a little bit. A freak is great, and for your own personal accuracy just practice. I won an accuracy challenge w/ my stock ION and i was going against EGOs, DM5s (it was 2005) and that type so it sreally your own accuracy, not the ions. Also that was completely stock, settings and all.

wow that is nice
it just seems like my balls are tailing sometimes, you know curving sideways and stuff.
i guess i might try lowering my ball speed next time, it was 296-303 last time i checked it.

Turn your reg so the fps is low, adjust your settings, slowly increase your pressure unitll your in teh 280's. The curving could be due to teh fact that your using bad balls. I was using eliminators when i won that thing (they are great for the price) but now i shoot hellfire mostly. The only time my ION has been innacurate is when my feild got a bad batch of recsport. Recsport is great it was jus that one batch cause the were flying like you had broken paint. And it wasnt just in my ION, a karni (most accurate gun in the world ), DM4, and 06 timmy were all doing it that day w/ taht paint.
