Unhappy ion problems!!! please help!!!

ok so yesterday i was playing in a tourny and if i shot a ball every couple seconds they would just roll out of the end of my barrel. Thinking it was my tank reg i put a different tank on there and it worked better. while dry firing walking it the gun would be good for about 7 or so seconds and then it would die down and barely shoot then it would get back up to pressure. after adjusting my dwelland using a different tank it still does this. would anyone know what this problem is????? if so please help me out

that and your dwell might be to low, does your tank have a guage on it? are you using co2? it might be cold causing the bolt to stick.

no i use compressed air, yes there is a gauge on my tank, my dwell is at 45, and what would that battery have to do w/ my guns velocity moving up and down a decent amount and dieing out of air?

it could not be chaged enough, or depricing the board of the charge it needs to fully send the air out and shiz.

Could it be the reg has gunk in it? Or maybe a leaky hose also? Those would be a few quesses. See if the gauge on your gun loses pressure then recharges when you shoot. If it deos then you know its not any internals, but rather its either the reg/tank/asa/macro. Is it an LP tank or HP?

Try changing your battery first. That seems to be the number one thing on ion problems. After it is changed, clean the reg, take apart the gun, greese it ect. Check o rings. Should be fine. I doubt its the macro, you would hear leaking.

Yeah i know. Its either low battery, small leak in teh internal hosses, or a screwed up reg. If its not that im flabergasted.

it could easily be his dwell, idk if the ion has them but there are switches on some boards (example, non stick switches that turn the non stick settings on and off) that might have been switched around after a dive or something.

There is nothing that could get bumped on an ION board, stock anyways

in this order, change your battery: the number 1 thing i've seen happen to an ion is the battery starts to die and the marker starts acting erratically, often people say, it's my dwell what could the battery have to do with this? but low voltage to the board could make it send the wrong signal around and mess up quite a bit of things... because the ion boards are made so simply (even aftermarket) this problem seems to occur more frequently with this marker than any other marker i've seen.

then, open up your marker and check to see if your qev is loose or not screwed in, i know - that sounds stupid, why would it be loose... often i see this when people are rushing to put their marker back together before a tournament and what not, then end up shooting strange and having balls roll out... sound familiar?

while the marker is taken apart you might just want to check to see if the bolt is over-lubed as shocker lube seems to make the bolt stick when there is too much and most other lubes that the ion can use do the same thing... if there is not enough lube, feel free to add some as well.

upon your discretion, you may decide it's time to put your marker back together and test it - if it works, GREAT! but if not, take it back apart and disassemble the solenoid. clean it and then grease it. while the marker is apart now, you should just check the hoses to make sure those are in tight - if you have to, replace tattered and damaged hoses...

that should be it, i've never seen a problem like that in an ion where the problem wasn't fixed doing one of those things... so check all that and if it STILL does not work, come back we'll see what we can figure out!

if the marker is still acting up, just come back and post again what the problem is...

also try and be very specific, if it's making a strange noise when it's firing tell us, and if it's only able to cycle through three rounds and then starts massive drop off... tell us - it's so much easier to help knowing exactly what is wrong...

also, i'm not sure but does the blackheart board have abs? i know the virtue board does...
