Ion Board Help!
In your opinion, what is the best board out there for an Ion? I'm mainly looking at features and price. I really like the APE Rampage because the included membrane has the ability to change firing modes without disassembling the gun. The Virtue is okay too, because it has all sorts ofupgrades for it. But if the Virtue upgrades worked on the Rampage, I'd definately go for the APE... unless you guys have some better board ideas???

but does the T-Board or the Spitfire have an included membrane that lets you change firing modes without disassembly?

the spitfire is compatible for the dye membrane yes, and it comes with the best soleniod out for an ion.

I beleive a tboard is also compatible with a dye membrane. Ive heard some people say they like the rampage board and some say its not alot better than the stock one. Dont get a blackheart. Virtue is good but tboards are better, and cheaper. I geuss the lucky is pretty nice too. If it were me id look into the tboard and the lucky board. But i dont have to worry about it anymore cause i sold my ION so....

T-boad is good for the price but a few triggers will get stuck on the trigger switch because it is not quiet in the right spot

but isnt there a nut you can get from SD that allows the trigger to work with the t-board??

They might offer one but a don't think so.
The best thing would be it go raid the hardware store. they might have a nut thats the right size. I am going to see if I can find right size one as well. |
