Banna slick, Hater sauce, dow 33, slick lube. Bassically any paintball lube will work

And the gun runs on either LP or HP, but i suggest HP.

this is what i use. it's dow 33 like smart parts recommends. it's called sleek. i got it on ebay for like 10 bucks. don't know if that's a good deal or not.

hater sauce, dow 33, sleek... some of my favorites.

i would actually suggest lp for your ion, it honestly doesn't matter - but you only need an output of 180 most.

why bother with a hp tank?

hmm well i was thinkin about goin with LP because supposedly it has more consistency and that stuff but i've talked t some ppl at my field and they don't notice much of a difference, and as for lube thanks alot cause the manual said ONLY to use the "shocker lube" so that was questionable to me. but yeah i'm still not sure if there's a noticable difference between LP or HP?

There wont be a difference in HP and LP in your ION, but more guns can run off of HP than LP and thats why i suggested it. Honestly on your ION it deosnt really matter, i had a low pressure CP reg on mine before.

Also LP is siad to strangle, or not provide enough air fast enough, to some guns. HP will be more consistent, or has been in the past.

And yeah, tehy say only to use their lube, but it deosnt matter. They say only use theirs so if you go and use something else it can void your warranty. Like if i used WD-40 and it messed the gun up, i couldnt make them replace my gun. The ones we mentioned wont wreck your gun at all, and they wont eat away at your o-rings.
