I just got a JT Protium and the rechargable 9V it comes with does not, nicely, fit in the slot. The capacitor has more pressure on it then I would like and it is being pushed a bit. I tried a Duracell 9V and it fits a little better, but still pushes the capacitor. Is this normal? Does this wear down the capacitor connections after a while of use?

I think you're fine, you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Thanks. So it's normal to have to push the capacitor "a bit" to fit the battery? My wife fiddled with it a bit and now the capacitor seems to be resting further up so the battery fits much better, but it still pushes on the capacitor.
