drop forward, regular asa, screws

ok, so this is my problem, I got the Psycho ballistics bullet drop forward with on/off last week and need major help, with I got my hpa tank today and really want to paintball!!. ok so I have an imagine, the regular stock asa(screws) are so much longer than needed to be for the drop forward, 3 local hardware stores, ace, home depot, and lowes, they all dont have the screws/nuts I need, because also I lost one of the nuts when I was taking it apart.
The guy that gave me the drop is going to send me the regular stock asa screws, I figured maybe we could saw them down, but no nuts, I only have one nut, so only one screw fits.
what should I do with the other screw? it's not going to stay in, any suggestions, he said take plummer tape, and just the gap between the drop forward and the end of the screw, bundle that crap up with that strong tape and that should do, also he said something about I dont remember.

does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do? do you think I should call kingman for the nut?

your local hardware store doens't have the right size nuts?? I dont' believe that for an instant. and if you do cut the screw..it's might not go in the threads right cuz cutting it will probalyl mess up the screw threads. that i suggest is buying a whole new set os screws and nuts.

Try this..(disclaimer: if you screw it up, not my fault)

First see about how many threads you need to cut off, Then take the nut and thread it all the way down the screw. Get the tool of choice to cut it, (dremel, hacksaw) and cut off the screw very carefully and even at the right length. Then unscrew the nut from the screw all the way off, when it comes off the end, it should clean up the threads and screw back on.

Worked for me w/ my phsyco drop, All you can do is try.

ok, I just went and bought screws, that were like 3 threads bigger, and I did it as tight as I could, and the first screw, the one on the side with eveyrhting, board etc. the screw that comes 2nd from the back of the gun, well I screwed it just a little too hard, and I went right through the ****in plastic, I broke, ill try to get a pic, I actually broke the wall after the nut, and its like leaning on my battery, but hey , its really tight, the other screw(same size) I bought im going to saw it 3 threads lower, so that it doesnt happen in the back

you should have checked their length by holding them up to the outside b4 inserting them, or stopped and took it out when it got too tight. But, whatever works, lol..

Sanding a bevvel on the end of the screw/bolt will "fix" the fuked up threads after you cut the bolt.
