Pilot Trouble

Recently I have been having trouble with my Spyder Pilot. Well, actually I was having trouble with it in like October, before it got to cold to play paintball. But I just went to check on it and it's still have this trouble. It has battery power, and when I pull the trigger, the light on the LED display blinks, but that's all. It doesn't do the little clicking noise. So when I cock the bolt and pull the trigger, it doesn't spring forward. BUT, when I hold the trigger frame to the main body frame with my hands VERY tightly, it will set the bolt off and fire. Anyone know what could be the trouble. Thanx

Have you taken the frame off the body before? Maybe it is not screwed back into the body enough? Yeah, check those wires too. Put in a new battery. Look over your internals.

If you have to squeeze it, I think that you best bet would to bring it to a pro shop, and have them re-sauder everything.

Edit,(If it's anything like the ESP Frame....) make sure that the salinoid and the battery wires are in the right place my friend had the same problem. The battery goes in the top, then the on/off is the big one, and then it's the 'noid place. Make sure everything is plugged in right.

Ya... all of the wires are in the right place. Problem with taking it to a pro shop is that I live in Iowa which is the middle of nowhere. Closest one would prolly be about 2 hours away.

well then, in your situation, if your gun is under warranty, i'd call kingman. this type of problem should not be happening.

Ok... I think I found it. Seems it had sumthin to do with the wires in the salinoid. Whenever I push on the side of the frame that covers the salinoid and I push on where the wires go into the salinoid, it works fine. And I dont have to push very hard. Any idea how i can secure the wires in the salinoid.

Alright, i think i could get one. But how would i do it? The wires go into the main part of the salinoid and then there is a little metal cover that goes over the 2 wires. So im not sure how i could get to where the wires connect to the sallinoid.

that i'm not sure of....i dont know exactly what your noid looks like or how to dismantle it....if i had one in my hands, i might be able to tell you.

^^^^^thats my "disclaimer"...if you dont think you can handle any of the things im telling you to do to your gun...dont do it. also, ultimately, it's up to you to decide wether or not to listen to me. i.e. im not responsible for messin up your gun, im only offering suggestions. im not a kingman expert (im a piranha expert mostly).

is there a connector/plug on the end of the wire that goes into the noid?
(you may have to take the noid out to see it)

If you can't sauder it then take it to RadioShack and ask them to do it for you....in return just buy something cheap like $1 or so, cuz they don't like that. If not then just tape it on really well, E-Spyder wires become unconnected a lot.
