1. You take the cradle off the tank regulator(should have a set screw some where)
2. Take off your spyders drop forward
3. Screw on cradle to gun
4. Put tank in cradle and tighten set screw
5. Set up the hose.

however, as spyders have a nonstandard hole pattern, you will need to add a spyder drop forward adaptor first. Then do what huey said.

could he just take off the cradle off the tank and then screw the tank into his asa?

no, the asa has 2 holes next to each other, the reg's asa has holes in a straight line.

I think he means can it be used as a screw-in tank, like a preset. I'm saying the answer is still no.

it doesnt look like a standard screw in to me either...but, he didnt take the pic from the angle at which we can tell
