I'm seeing so many ideas on barrel upgrades for an electra dx. But I realise it already comes with a 2 piece 14" tournament grade barrel system. Will this barrel work as good as a Dye 14" boomstick?

Probably not. Stock barrels from kingman are never usally that good. But I've never shot a dx. What's important is the barrels have a smooth surface and good paint to barrel match.

But if you're happy with the performace out of the stock barrel, keep it then

I personally think putting a boomstick on a Spyder is a bit of a waste you would be spending about as much as you spent on the gun in the barrel. I would recommand a new barrel though. If I were you I would look at a Smart Parts Teardrop, a Smart Parts Progressive, a Custom Parts, a Evil Driver, or a J&J Cermatic.
