unique problem
I was gettign ready to play today and my imagine wasn't working. lucky i brought my extra one(which meant my frined had to rentbut that not my problem)
what's happening is that the switch wont' always trip the sear enougn. I thought iit was a bad battery so i put in a new 9v battery (cuz the 9.6v it came with was gettign dead..my fault for not charging it) however, this didn't help much and I thought it was problem with my spring cuz I though it was pressing too hard on my sear (cuz i put in a new stiff spring) and I'm not sure what's worng anymore cuz i put the new spring and still the same effect.
let me add that it always fires when i pull at slow speeds, but when i start ripping on it will re-cock but then no longer go forward. after this i can jiggle it a little bit and sometiem it will work for a few more shots. I'm checked everything and it may need oiled again but I dont' think that's affecting it. there's nothing blocking it and the sear and hammer are fine and show very little wear....I just don't understand.

put a coin behind the sear, that might help.
if not, buy a new switch, preferably one w/ some new wiring on it. (scenario dreams sells them)

Im having this exact same problem. From what Ive read the wireing for the capacitor to the board is junk. Take a look at that and see if its OK. If it is try re-sauldering it to the board. If it still does it go to Radio Shack and see if you can get a replacement capacitorif you think that is the problem. Also check the solenoid. Im not sure what is supposed to be in the noid but all I found in mine was the plate that moves with a shaft and a conacle thing on it, a very light spring, and the body. Is there supposed to be any thing else in there? Im about fed up with mine. Any one know where to get a new solenoid?

I'lm chargingup the 9.6v battery right now and we'll see if that works.

The same thing happened to my Pilot when I bought it. I found out that there was a bad connection of the wires between the board and the black cylidar transformer, and there wasn't enough power being sent to the Solenoid to trigger the sear to release the bolt.
Check to make sure all the wires are tight, If they are not, and you haven't messed with them or anything, but one of them is ripped or disconnected, then you can send the trigger frame to Kingman and they will replace it.
That's what they did for me and my Pilot hasn't quit since then (year and a half ago)
So yeah, check the wires for disconnections or breaks, and then replace the 9.6 v because the 9 v batteries don't charge the gun as long and they get the energy sucked out of them really quick.
Hope this helps.

Alright well, my trigger frame is on its way back to 32* for repair/replacement or the board or capacitor or solenoid. Cant wait to find out what is wrong.

a standard 9v battery doesnt supply the same amount of power that a 9.6 volt will, consequently, it may not function properly.
