This stuff is the greatest!!!! Way easier than steel braided line, just push the hose into the fittings and your done! Took me a total or 2 minutes, that includes removing my old drop forward and expansion chamber! Sorry, I know this is probably common information and kinda newbish but I couldnt belive it was that easy.

Problem is if you're shooting CO2 the thing will last you about 1200-1500 paintballs if you're shooting semi-auto and 400-700 if you walk it.
I would know.
Convenient how the paintball shop told me macroline is intended for HPA AFTER they sold it to me...

And it is a lot less durable than steel braided hose. Maybe it's good to keep one or two macrolines in your bag in case your hose starts leaking or something, other than that I'd just stick to the hoses.

mines has lasted a while....over 3 cases of paint, and shows no signs of deterioration....but i do keep a couple extra feet on hand just incase. (i also keep other spare partsm just in case...its a good idea)

Been through 1000-1200 rounds mostly full-auto(playin around in the back yard) and its still holding strong, no leaks. I do have an extra ~30" or so though just incase.

It's a lot less durable. And the fittings themselves are rated for like 300psi. That's even below the output of a LP HPA tank.

That aside, I've used macro for a while on CO2 and haven't had any problems. I had a small peice of it on my 98 for over a year with CO2 and only replaced it because I needed a longer peice for new parts.

Of course if a fitting were to fail, which is more likely than the line breaking looking at the pressure ratings, it wouldn't be cool to have your hand next to it.

idk what you guys are talking about, most of you have probably never seen a macroline in person before anyways. This stuff is really thick and its not like a straw, its more like a waterhose filled with water. I doubt it would break or anything solely because you are using co2 so dont worry about it.

macro is plastic... co2 is very cold... what happens to plastic when it gets cold.. it gets brittle.. so yes energizer bunny it will break(easier anyway) it is to be used with hpa.. and preferably low pressure

i had macroline on my electra for 6 months w/ co2 and nothing happened to it. Unless you shot constantly for a couple minutes and it froze solid and you dropped your gun than you will be fine.

The flaw in macroline is the non pressure rated metal fittings in my opinion. If the nylon tube broke it would be less dangerous than a metal elbow fragmenting.
