WHat to do?

My friend has a SPyder with a Physco Ballistics Drop forward w/ on/off. He turned it off, and tried to unscrew his tank, but it was stuck. We eventually got it off, but when it came off, it made a big pop. Is there a way to prevent this?

after turning the air off, shoot a couple of shots thru it... this should release all the pressure on the tank.

If he turned the drop forward off, then shooting the air out isnt going to release the pressure where the tank is, just after it.

Lately you've been posting Spyder threads here, they belong in the Kingman forum.

well, what i said would work on the ones i saw. THe on/off on the drops, how they work is when you screw it in, it pushes the co2 pin in, and releases the co2. So when you unscrew it, it would allow the pin to close, not allowing the co2 out. Which, if he did that and shot a few shots, all the pressure should be off of the tank.
