Try putting some drops of oil on the cupseal. And is it a big leak or a small one?

The valve is gone if its scracted. You'll be needing a new one. Prob $25-35.

Take out your valve, clean it, replace both o-rings and reinstall (if its not scratched). If that doesn't fix it then its probably the cupseal. I've had bad cupseals that looked perfectly fine at a glance.

Cupseals are hard to tell if their bad, just replace them w/the o-rings.

I had a leak out my barrel and my cupseal looked fine but i replaced it and the leak stopped. They have good gold/metal plated ones.

You know over the years its pretty easy to figure this out. Ive heard a million suggestions here yet none of them are correct. One came close. Lather the cup seal with white lithium grease. Jeez
