check this out
I was wondering which would be the better mod. I have $100. Thats enough to get the plamers regulator, and use co2 or else I can just buy a hpa tank and use it on my e99, what do you guys think is better for accuracy and performance with only $100?

get the hp tank a regulator will not affect co2 only big ugly expansion chambers will work on co2 and effect how it goes throught the gun. hte hp tank will be way better in the long run and will work better through your gun you will have less bounce, more consistency, and all of that will increase you accuracy and you will get more shots off than co2

You might not necesarily get more shots off it, it depends on the size and pressure of the tank, you wont get a very good/large one for only $100, but I would still get an HPA tank.

if it's a steel tank, i'd save a little more and get a carbon fiber one.

I mostly play woodsball, All I need is alittle more accuracy. I already have a barrel kit, I'm still debating which system will give me better accuracy, the hpa or else the palmer regulator. I've seen the regulator give consistant - or + 2 fps, but I'm not sure how constant the hpa will be .... any ideas?

A regulator can help co2 a ton, but HPA is still way more consistant as long as you get a tank with a good regulator. Crossfire and pure energy are probably your best bet.

As cheap as they are Pure Energy tanks are some of the best with just as good consistency, and recharge rates

the hpa will be more consistant then the regulator.
I get +/- 1fps w/ my hpa tank on a spyder.
