Question New, please help.. is this set up ok?

Hi everyone...
I am just getting back into paintball and i have a few questions.
I bought the pilot acs and i got the smart parts teardrop barrel for it(14in), is this a good barrel for this gun? Also was the pilot a good choice? I am also thinking about doing my own refilling of my co2 tanks, i know that you go by weight but could someone tell me the weights i should look for on the scale when i refill a 20oz & 12oz.
Thanks and God Bless

it's a good barrel. just make sure you get paint the matches it's bore size.
you might want to look into a HPA tank eventually, but it sounds like you dont' have the resources to fill it.

also, get a revy or eggy hopper.

that's about all I did to mine before i got sick of it and got a better marker

First thing is you have to find the weight of the empty bottle. Do this by ventoing the entire bottle till its completely empty. Read the scale to see how much it weighs. Start filling the bottle until the scale reads 20 ounces more than when empty. Once you know the empty weight you can fill it without venting off the old CO2. This is assuming you have a 20 ounce. You would do the same for a 12 ounce except only fill it 12 ounces more than the empty weight. Realize though that the scale may read out in pounds and you would have to convert onces to pounds. 16 ounces in a pound. So a 20 ounce would be 1.25 lbs plus empty weight.
