Having an Auto
I just got a new Electric Trigger Frame for my Spyder Rodeo and i was wondering if you absolutly needed an electric hopper and/or Nitro tank, the electronic trigger allows me to shoot up to 20bps

You dont need HPA on a spyder. It'd be a good investment to get an HPA tank and a Electric hopper, but its not NEEDED on a spyder. When you decide to get more into the sport and get better things, then buy the stuff, but if you don't buy an electro hopper, you're not going to be shooting that fast.

Not sure, if you don't have eyes, which you don't. You're gonna be shooting 5-7 bps tops. Not even a consistent bps.

If you try to shoot fully automatic with a standard gravity fed hopper, prepare to clean out your gun. Cocker's right about them being upgrades down the road. Right now, I'd maybe buy a used revvy just to make sure you don't outpace yourself. You will most likely not to be shooting full auto very much anyways.

Another possible choice for you is the Halo TSA, it works for anything around or lower than 13 BPS, I use one on my Ion, and i havent choped a ball yet, but that has eyes...still, I get going pretty fast.
They can get down to around $45 new, for the LED version of the Frontman model

Most (if not all) fields ban any mode besides semi. Therefore if you plan on playing on any sort of organized field you won't be using auto so a gravity feed will be fine. But one of your first upgrades should be an electronic hopper such as a Revvy or Reloader.

Not mine, mine doest give a **** about bounce/ramping/all those goodies
Although they dont allow bunkering unless you approve it with the group playing
Um yeah, get a Revvy/Reloader II
Personally, i have a reloader on my pilot, and it works great.

no way. spyders have enormis kick when it shoots that would prevent the paintballs to drop correctly with a gravity hopper. you atleast need a revvy.

buy a used Egg II, make sure it's the new version w/ the fixed battery door and lid (lid is attached w/ pop rivits)
that would be plenty fast for auto which is capped at 14bps on spyder. Or at least, that's what i remember their cap being.

Well, i just got a Zap Mach 404 electronic hopper, it was $20.00 at Sports authority and it had pretty good reviews, since im not looking for an uber hopper im sure it will be just fine for me.
