Recocking Issue

Alrighty, I got my Rocket Valve installed and it works fine. My operating pressure is now 500psi. Problem is, the valve is not supposed to be used above 500psi. This concerns me cause I can walk my trigger at 500psi without a great deal of shoot down but if i set the psi at say, 480, it just burps at me.

Also, i changed the main spring to the lightest one i could from the 32 degrees kit and it made NO CHANGE in velocity. Adjusting my velocity knob also has no effect on my velocity. It's always between 275 and 285. This is really bugging me cause i dont wanna ruin my valve by playing with it at 500psi. Help!

Get a valve spring kit and put the lightest one in there.

you really think it's the VA that's preventing me from getting below 500?

i dont know that i can drill the VA anyway. I took it out and the reg-->VA hole is already as big as it can get without drilling into the walls and the VA-->Valve hold is already big enough that it's to the center "nipple" in the pipe. think it's the regulator? I know that at like 480psi it burps but stops as soon as i crank the reg up to 500psi.
