hey, I'm rather new to paintballing in general and I didn't feel like spending alot of money so I bought a spyder xtra and a stock. I was wondering about places to mount a scope, and since I haven't got my gun yet I was wonding if anyone knows if there is a place to stick one. I know lots of people think stocks and scopes on paintball guns are overkill or unneccisary but i shoot a lot of real guns and find a stock helpful. I also have a 50mm BSA Red Dot scope on hand so I figure I might as well make my gun look cool. If the spyder xtra does have a scope mount does anyone know what size it is? Or if I can replace it with a new one? My scope is made to fit the larger 7/8 rail size.

the spyder trail is directly behind the hopper, so all you're gonna get is a nice view of teh hopper.

some places sell side mounted scope mounts..just look around paintball stores online.

Oh goody, but I suppose the side will work, I'll look around, though I've been all over the net trying to find one. Any one got any good paintballing sites in case i have missed finding that particular one?

ummm..crap.

I forgot what the site was called. it's a tatical paintball site. google is your friend right now.

I'm almost certian they sell it. but any store that caters to speedballers will NOT have it. speedballers hate scopes (i'd never use one, but i find dot scopes acceptable for woodsball. no other scope however, shall ever be used on a paintball marker)
