Spyder Imagine Barrel

Well I tried a 32 degrees barrel and a J&J ceramic barrel and well my stock barrel on my Spyder TL-X shoots better. I'm debating on a DYE Ultralite or a Boomstick. Or well any other barrel that you can suggest.

This barrel will go along with a Bob Long Torpedo regulator, AKA Tornado Valve, Shockteck Super Fly Bolt, and a Shocktech Spyder Low Pressure Chamber if that affects anything at all.

well..im not familiar with the TL-X but it would depend on the material its made out of. and the paint to the barrel affects it but not that much, im gonna use a J&J and it works great on my Imagine

Well, chances are ultra lite and boomstick probably arn't going to shoot much better than the J&J if at all better. It really just depends on paint quality and paint to bore match. If you havnt already bought those ups I wouldn't get them. First your better off with a new ,better gun, but if you really want to upgrade, get something besides a torp. If you are using co2 a reg is pretty much pointless anyway. Bolts are pretty pointless also. Sand, and remove the venturi on the stock one and your good.

so your saying that a J&J and a boomstick will result in the same performance. I doubt this. Just think thats a little wierd cuz I put a boomstick on my WGP instead of using the stock one and the difference was like night and day.

Thats because stock WGP barrels suck. There a little short and the bore or at least on 2k3 verts is like .695. So your paint bore match is just way off. But mainly when you buying something pricy like a boomstick is b/c its 2 peice and probably higher quality in material and production. I dont think you will see much difference though if they both have a decent match.
