Discontinued?
I was planning on purchasing a Fenix but it seems the product has been discontinued at Action Village. The MSRP at the Kingman site has also been deleted leading me to believe this gun will no longer be available. As a substitute, I will most likely buy a Pilot. Is the Pilot a major downgrade from a Fenix or is it still a nice gun? Thanks

I haved looked at EBAY but my concern is with parts. If this is a discontinued gun, parts and maintainence will be more difficult. If anyone uses a Pilot, do you think it is a nice gun or do you have problems with it?

Well, all spyders pretty much use the same or very similar parts, so you should be ok.

I have an upgraded Fenix that I am trying to sell. It's pretty hard to mess it up to the point that you have to actually send it in or replace a major part. I had to buy a new hose a couple weeks ago because it started leaking when one of my friends was playing with it.

Well I got my pilot but now i have a new problem..-.- The stock barrel is somewhat deformed. The lip after the threads is a little bent and wont fit inside the gun. Going to contact Kingman about this. This is annoying. Im just curious if anyone had this problem with a barrel?

Yea. They are cheap (about 30 bucks) and are much better barrels than stock Spyder barrels.

compared to the imagine the pilots is like a J&J not exactly the quality but stock and on a low budget it works fine, and i haven't seen a problem with mine. could've been beaten in shipping -.- happens to a lot of people. But thankfully Kingman cares about there business and helps everyone out.
