my Xtra is maxing out at 274 fps with polished internals, and a full CO2 tank... any ideas?

no it's not a problem, 274 is ok. If the crono limit at your field is 285 that's prety good. Don't be worried. Plus you dont want the fps to high because if it's to high you will get a lot of bounces

yeah 274 is fine. But if you want a lil faster, put a stiffer spring in the gun.
