what to get next?

sup guys i have a spyder imagine with the eframe. so far i have drilled out the VA, lightened the hammer (a lot), removed the venturi, and cupped the bolt. oh and i polished everything. i can definitely tell the difference in kickback after this. havent chronoed or have a gauge so i couldnt tell ya how much it helped out there

so im wanting to go low pressure using co2. hpa is outa the question
i just ordered a rocket valve and centerflag inline regulator. what else should i get?

im thinking a dye boomstick and a cheaper agitating hopper. what would you guys suggest
oh and i think im too fast for the stock board cause when im really tryin to shoot fast it only shoots every other click. so im guessing ill need a board upgrade?

here's my gun. i used a bench grinder the "mill" then end
there are no aftermarket parts on it yet. the black peices i painted (or tried to)

i like the halfblock. Dont go to crazy dumping to much $$ into non transferable upgrades. Get a barrel kit, a decent hopper etc.

ya, try to not put so much money in a low grade gun (they're fine with some ups but LP on a spyder isn't worth it compared to the mid grade guns) but if u have fune uppin it till u get another one thats fine just be sure to save some money for Paint and a new gun. or save up for HPA which will definitly increase performance.

I talke dto some reffs at my field about goin LP with a spyder just as a project and they said they've seen plenty of spyders that went LP and had all sorts of burping problems. I'd look into a delrin bolt, that'll really reduce your cycling mass. If you have a dremmel you can take weight off the striker as well.

If your'e amxing out your stock board (mostlikely) look into getting a tboard. And if you get a t-board you'll need AT LEAST an eggy. GEtting a t-board with eyes is a better option, but then you'd have to drill for eyes and buy/make eye covers.

i just got a sp linear 16" today. didnt want to shell out the dough for a whole kit. i have done almost all the lp mods from otters site. the hammer is dramaticaly lighter after i put it to a bench grinder. ive done everything i can do to it stock except the valve but im getting the rocket valve which is on the way along with a centerflag regulator 200-600psi. so i figure a tboard and a agitating hopper soon and im good to go.

btw i dont really plan on ever getting a new gun cause i mainly play woodsball and will venture to the recball feilds a few times.

here's what it looks like. soon it'll be covered in camo duck tape

i think you should get hpa unless there are no places to fill nearby. then get a halo b because if you buy and egg you will break it also replace the feed tube

HPA is much more consistant (in velocity) than co2 and is much better for the gun because it isn't cold like co2 is.

I personally wouldn't buy anything else for it. Just do small home mods...it's pointless to dump a bunch of money into a spyder because no matter how much you upgrade it...in the end, it's still just a spyder. Save up for a gun worth upgrading.

eh im not getting another gun and i dont want to. i cant justify spending the money on a higher end gun when im not competing

anyways, i got the regulator in and the valve has been shipped.

what are the threads that go into the bottom line? they are the same on the regulator and i need to get a 90* fitting and some hose to connect the bottom line and my new reg.

ok so this is what i ordered, bassed on the fittings into the bottom line hopefully being 1/8 NPT

https://palmer-pursuit.com/ecom/prod...c88e9216213bde
https://palmer-pursuit.com/ecom/prod...c88e9216213bde
https://palmer-pursuit.com/ecom/prod...c88e9216213bde
1ft of https://palmer-pursuit.com/ecom/prod...c88e9216213bde

its basically their macroline kit but i saved 50 cents by having only 1 ft and i got an on/off switch so i wouldnt have to keep unscrewing the bottle b/w games

so you guys think it'll fit? are the threads on the bottom line duckbill thing 1/8th NPT? i hope so cause that means ill have my LP gun air'd up and ready to test/tune. ive got a centerflag reg/guage and the rocket valve is on the way.
