Is a used Spyder E-99 good first marker??

Im new to paintball, I have played a few times with friends guns (all woodsball). I decided Im gunna buy a gun but I am really tight on money cus Im buying a car and paying insureance. I dont want to spend over 200 alll together for a marker, mask, ect. I read alot of stuff in the new players forum and I think a spyder would be good cus I am mainly looking for reliability and I take good care of all my stuff. I found a Used Spyder E-99 for around 80 bucks and I was wondering if that was a good deal and a good marker to buy used.

It's a good first marker, but you can get a much better deal. Go on ebay, you can buy a factory refurbished spyder imagine (same gun as the e99) for about 60. Then, get a 14oz or 20oz co2 tank (they are all the same, just find one cheap). You can get a revvy (viewloader revolution) here, or on ebay for under $30, this keeps you from having to shake your hopper to make it feed, and lessens the likelyhood of chops. The one thing you don't want to cheap out on is a mask. You're going to need to spend atleast $50 or so on a high quality mask. I suggest a proto switch, pro-flex, dye-invision or any other highend mask really. Its mostly preference. If you have a chance to try some on, that would be best.

Good choice! Now you need to buy a 12 or 20 oz. CO2 tank, a hopper (gravity or 12volt revolution), and a mask. I suggest a VForce Vantage mask.
