spyder pilot question
I will be soon playing some minor tournament, at this time I got a e-A5 that is great for Rec, but not enough for speedball. First I was looking for a Ion marker, wich is great, but not in my hand. After I saw that the pilot have everything that I need, but ther's still some info I need.
so this is what I will got:
-Spyder Pilot
-ACS bolt
-Egg2
-Freak barrel 14"
-HPA 68/45
question:
1. Can you walk the trigger?
2. What is the rate of fire? (in BPS)
3. Is it lightweight (in comparison of an ION)
4. Is it compact (in comparison of an ION)
5. How many shoot can I expect from a 68/4500 HPA bottle?
PLZ do not answer buy an ION or other marker...and second thanks to answer the question!

yes, you can walk the trigger, but it will be a little easier to do so if you change your pull length a little from where it will be stock.
the rate of fire is supposed to be around 20bps on pilots i believe, but with an egg if you went that fast you'd outshoot it (if you can afford it try and get something a little quicker for a hopper)
no, it will weigh quite a bit more than an ION, i've held an ion and was suprised how light they were compared to my imagine
no it will not be more compact than an ion, an ion is not a stacked tube blowback, and so height wise the ION has a pilot beat.
check the air systems forum for information on how many shots you'll get out of a tank. it is stickied.
i would say get the ion, because it beats the pilot in the fact that it's a higher end gun, weighs less, has a ramping mode, is electropneumatic, comes wwith an eye, so you're basically GUARANTEED not to chop unless you turn it off, and can shoot pretty much the same BPS as a pilot... but it's all preferencee and you wanna go with a pilot i answered your ?'s for ya

can you explain me how can I set the trigger pull? Do I need some new gat, or it's just an adjustment that can be do on the marker stock, like a screw?

somewhere on the frame (on my imagine it's on top just in front of the trigger) there's a little allen screw that you can adjust and it will change the length of the pull... i like mine pretty much touching the switch, but you can move it wherever is comfortable for you..

YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I THINK spyders are a bigger waste of time than HuNtS trying to get laid. how about you just use what you have untill you can afford something that doesnt totally suck, like a shocker or something better. all of these
fa gs who say that a spyder is good should be shot along with all of the people who say ions are good. And in closing, the only thing spyders are good for is so that dan can play paintball while his shocker is broken but soon he will get a new soelnoid that he can pone on all of you stupid spyder noobs

my spyder pilot has always been good to me, ion will probably be a better gun for ya but with the ups (try to get a better hopper) it will rip pretty good for a spyder.....I dont know if its tourny legal you will have to read up on that but if I were you I would buy and ion like EVERYONE else....

shut up slack, 800 buck for a ****** paintball marker is not in my budget, I'm not a kid who's his parent pay everything. I have other stuff to buy before. The pilot seems to be a perfect BEGINNER speedball gun to me!

dont listen to slack... he doesnt know half of what he's talking about and you're better off to ignore him... go with the pilot if that's what you want, it'll be pretty reliable, and should shoot great.

good choice on the pilot, decent gun, great for the price.
if you got the ACS bolt, then the max you will reach will be 13bpm with a motohopper, 10 without one.
Decent gun, get a freak kit for it and you should be good to go. Playing with mine on full auto rof 13 with non motohopper and it just would not keep up, thought I chopped, but it was just the acs at work, no chops.

13bps, you will be fine, it's a decent gun. let us know how it worked.
