i've not noticed any difference.
actually, one of mine came loose and fell out...sorta scary cuz if it hapened during a game.....yeah

I took mine out on my X-tra just because I **HEARD** it increases airflow and such.

same thing happend to me. then I read somewhere that its better to take it out..but I don't see any difference

The Theory was that the venturi applied even air pressure on the paintball causing less deformation on the ball and more consistance shooting. I have used bolts with and without one and was unable to see any real differance.
