Safety pin. Works way better, and its never going to fall off. Every spyder I've ever owned has lost that pin.

i have also took a paper clip and put on it and bent it so it wouldnt fall off

Yea you can use anything man. My friend uses the rings from old key chains.
If you want the style pin it used to have it is some kind of cotter pin. Look around the hardware stores.

You can always find a similer pin at a hobby store that carries RC car stuff, you will want to look for the pins that hold the bodies on. These will be close to the same but a paper clip bobby pin or anything of the sort will be easier.
