Problems with spyder xtra?

My friend's spyder xtra is very troublesome to shoot. When you cock the gun and fire most of the time, two or three paintballs are being shot with one pull of the trigger in semi-auto. The balls are coming out very slow and curving. It is not the paintballs because we tried them in my spyder vs3 and they worked. Can someone give me some advice?

Edit: Everything is stock on the gun. We are using a full co2 tank as well.

Not too sure but it has to do with air in the gun. Somethings broke, haha, not much help. But Ive seen multiple people have that same exact issue so your not alone.

corection ball detent...its below the direct feed. if you unscrew it there is a little rubber piece inside that keeps the ball in place, keeps it from rolling out of the barrel, and prevent you from shooting more than one ball.

its not a little rubber piece its a ball being pushed with a small spring in it so when then gun shoots it can slide back into the detent and slide back out after the bolt has gone past.
