I took my imagine apart.....
for the first time today. I only removed the bolt. The top piece of the bolt has some burrs or rough spots on it torwards the barrell end on the very end of the bolt, it also has a couple on the top of the part between the two o-rings. I am not familiar with exactly how this gun works. I polished both parts back smooth with a dremel tool. Is this o.k.? Will those marks hurt the performance of the gun? Should I get a new bolt? I saw some on ebay either made by or of derlin not sure what that is but would it be worth the 25 dollars to upgrade the bolt? Also, what is a low pressure chamber, do I need one?
thanks,
-d
sorry for all the questions.

it'll lower your operating pressure a bit by removing the burrs with a dremmel. So long as you didn't put huge gouges in the bolt it'll be fine.
a delrin bolt will greatly reduce the friction of the bolt. (but dont' get it unless you're going for low pressure, it's not worth it)
the low pressure chamber is that little thing sticking out underneath your barrel. the stock one works fine, don't boter getting a different one.

some wear on Spyder bolts is normal. There is no avoiding this. Polish it out but scoring of the bolt will probably return. You will even get some scoring on delrin bolts. This has always been part of Syders.

As long as nothing fropm the bolt is catching on the inside of the gun you should be fine. I file any burrs off then polish all my parts so there is less friction which in turn, increase cycle rate while reduceing required operating pressure which reduces kick.
A delrin bolt is not needed, although because it is lighter, it will increase you cycling rate and reduce required operating pressure. And because it's lighter, it reduces the kick (recoil) of your gun
You don't need low pressure chamber unless you are running your gun on low pressure, all it does is add volume to your regulated air which reduces your operating pressure. It only helps if your have a reg and are running lp.

Yup. The scarring on spyders is totally normal. If you take the bolt out and look inside the body it is usually a little scratched as well.
And like frozen_paint said, a low pressure chamber doesn't really do anything for most people with spyders. The only reason you would need one is if you were getting shootdown(basically meaning your FPS starts dropping as you start shooting faster), and I have never really heard of ANY spyders having that problem.

LP spyders can get shoot down if they are not paired with a conststant reg. But because the re-cock of a spyder is the same gas that propels the ball, it is a rare occasion.

most of the scarring is going to be done, and... well...
THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!!
ok, sorry i couldn't resist... basically just keep using lube on your bolt and the scarring will mean nothing, but if you're not lubing it frequently (well, enough for spiders, you really dont need to do it that often), there could be a problem...
