My bro is thinking about getting an MR2. He's not too excited about buying a nitrogen tank. But with a siphon tube using CO2 would that be safe. Because I know with like an Ion you can but they don't reccomend it. Is it the same with the MR2?

You can and should use an anti-syphon tube. It prevents C02 from getting into you marker. It's only about 20 bucks installed.

Make sure you tell the person installing it that you want an "Anti-siphon". A Siphon tube install is nearly the same piece of equipment, but it actually functions backwards and only sends liquid CO2 into the gun.

For a normal Spyder this is mostly OK, but I don't know how the new style valve will handle it, so I can't recommend it.

Anti-Siphon won't hurt a thing though, so its a safe bet. Even if the gun does pick up a little liquid, it won't be nearly as sensitive to it as an Ion or other gun.

Alright Cool, I'll recomend that to him. I accidentally said Siphon but I meant Anti-Siphon.
