For the external parts of the gun, I use a cleaner like 409 or other grease cutting cleaner. Generaly what I find I have to clean off the gun is dried paint. The basic materials in the paint are mineral oils, food coloring, calcium, ethylene glycol. Because of the mineral oil, something that breaks up grease and oils helps. Such cleaners will not hurt the powder coating and anodized finish of your marker. Do make certain you dry the gun well before storeing. There are some small components on most paintball markers that can rust.

you use marker certified Oils for a spyder marker, you oil all the O-rings and some in the ASA and fire some shots of HPA ( High Pressure Air ) to keep the gun maintained and functioning nicely. the kingman website has videos on standard Spyder partout which is very easy and doesn't require wire pulling.
