Question MR2 parts, tips, or tricks

i just got a MR2 and i love it. i have a cheap hopper so i only use semi or 3 shot burst. I chop 3/4 balls every hopper, But i'm getting a EVOIII or a Halo B next week
(only place that has paintball stuff is a 2 hour drive away) so i hope to use full auto alot after that. Is there ANY other things anyone would recommend i get or change (please dont say "get a ____ marker"). i only play woodsball and i only play 2 or 3 times a month.

i made a 5 1/2" barrel (we play in heavy brush and the stock barrel hangs on everything).

i also made a "Flash Suppressor" for the stock barrel, made it ALOT quieter.

I looked at all the Spyder mods and did not see any for the MR2, and looking on the web for aftermarket parts is like pulling teeth (spent 3 hours looking for a non plastic feedneck, with no luck)

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

a mr2 is a spyder with a body kit on it. anything that can be done to another e spyder can be done to your gun.

Ok i put this in the MR1 post as well

List of Parts for the MR2 - Spyder Forums

I would recommend the Metal Feedneck DEFINATELY. As overpriced as it is its totally worth it. Type in "MR2 feedneck, paintball" on ebay and it should come up in toysinmybasement's ebay store. I just got it. Looks cool and works even better.
You also mentioned a halo B. I have an MR2 with a halo B and have not broken a single ball since i got it, and i'v shot about a thousand balls. definately a pimp loader
Lastly, i see that you use a CO2 tank. The trinity 6-stage expansion chamber would look cool and work very well. I personally got an Air tank instead but its totally up to you.

Hope this helps

Is this gun a "hard" to maintain gun... like oiling it everyweek, ect. "With the stock ball detent, this gun will double feed once or twice out of every hopper"(quote from a review on pbreview.com), is that true?

Barracuda101 -> I don't know a spyder that is hard to maintain. but I do oil my TL-X after every gameday

I have had my gun for about 5 or 6 months now and have had no problem with the detent. Also, i recommend oiling the gun at least before or after every round, if not both. As well, the manual doesn't say this, but i like to put a drop of oil on the bolt so that it doesn't jam up, which usually only ever occurs during automatic mode. Its strange, with single pull i can fire it much faster then auto (13 bps) and have it not jam on me, regardless, oil your gun. GET THE FEEDNECK, IT KICKS ***

That gun is looking nice. I like that Flash Suppressor that you put on it. I'd duggest getting an Empire Reloader B, and a 68/3000psi HPA for it. It will perform a lot better, only because running CO2 through an electronic gun can destroy the Solenoid and even the board.
